DIY Renewable Energy Installation

Self installation is a cost saving option for either skilled DIYers or homeowners co-ordinating their own local and trusted tradespeople. Installation can typically account for about 50% of the installed costs. It's especially suitable for solar thermal, shower heat recovery and hot water cylinders.

So, if you are a competent DIYer, self-builder or are having some building work done it may well work out cheaper to buy a kit from our ONLINE SHOP and carry out or arrange the installation yourself.

Please note, you will not be eligible for the feed-in tariff or renewable heat incentive if you install the system yourself. To be eligible for these funding schemes you must have your installation completed by an MCS qualified installer.
